Summary: What you're going to do when you received a message from Shinigami that said you're joining their game? 25 people including Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari and Matsumoto Jun try their best to survive the game for the rest three days or they will lost their lives in the most fatal accident they ever thought. Will they manage to? And why Ohno Satoshi who has nothing to do with it tries to rescue every victims that he found?
Warnings: This story full with blood, murderer and plot that might be unsuitable for you who hate this kind of stuff. For you who ever read my fics before, THIS STORY is different from what I ever wrote.

‘Where are they?’

Ohno starts to feel uneasy when the restaurant’s upstairs is empty. He immediately goes downstairs and enters every space and room there, but still found no one anywhere.

‘How should I find them now?’

He curses and feels his head like going to explode again when his current bad headache now mixes with his stress. While tries his best to ignore all the pain, he quickly walks out from the restaurant and runs to any direction that his instinct will bring him to. His eyes look for every inch of his surround with his heart beats hardly inside his chest; gradually increase along with every worry step he takes. Soon, he notices Sakurai’s motionless body on the road.

“Sakurai-san!”

Immediately, Ohno speeds up to Sho and kneels down beside worriedly. He shakes the other’s body, before he soon realizes the liter of blood which currently stains the road under him and Sho. Panic by the sight, Ohno tremblingly moves his fingers to the latter’s pulse; try to confirm for something worse that might already happen to the guy beside him. However, the fear immediately turns into confusion as soon as his fingers touch Sho’s cold wrist.

‘He’s still..?’

Slowly, Sho opens his eyes. The latter blinks confusedly for a while before turns his head to Ohno who still looks at him in surprise.

“A-Are you okay?”

The older one finally manages to say something. However, Sho just starts to bring his eyes to everywhere there without says anything until he catches the sight of the broken metal stairs that he just climbed up while ago above. He clumsily sits up before wails painfully by the sudden rough movement.

“What happen? Did you get injure anywhere?”

“No…I…ugh…”

He moves his hand to his back head and feels the sticky blood on it. As he brings his palm and frowns by the sight of his red blood, Sho looks up again before immediately looks around; tries to find for the presence of his Shinigami nearby. There’s no doubt now that he just fall from a high place while ago.

“I-I’m still alive?”

“Yes you are. Are you okay? Do you feel any pain on your bleeding area?”

“I’m fine, but…why? I thought I just fell from up there?”

Ohno stares the guy confusedly before looks up to the place where Sho is looking at. His eyes grow wider by the sight of where the stairs was broken at. If it’s true Sho just fall from there, he himself couldn’t believe that Sho still can survive and even talks to him casually like this. The shock however doesn’t stay long when he remembers about the other three.

“Why are you alone? Where’s the rest?”

The questions make Sho’s face change dramatically. Hesitantly, he turns to look at Ohno and stays silence as he don’t know what the older will think and do if he explains about what just happened between them.

“…We’re separated. Everything makes sense now. We actually know each other from past and the Shinigami...purposely reveals it now.”

Ohno bitterly sighs. His guardian was right.

“Since when you guys were separated from each other?”

“I don’t know.”

Realize how stress Sho already is, Ohno couldn’t ask more. He immediately looks at his watch and sighs heavily by the pressure of the remaining time. Later, he turns to Sho again.

“We should go and look for them now. Can you move?”

“…They will not want to see my face anymore. I’ve done a lot of mistakes before and now...I feel embarrass with myself.”

He bites his lower lip. Ohno however just look at him with a pair of serious eyes.

“Then, this is your chance to fix it. Don’t add more regret in your life.”

As Sho now returns his gaze, Ohno carefully helps him to get up.

“No matter what happen before, you guys and I are comrades now. Think again. The four of you succeed to make till this far cause you guys not fated to die yet. So why want to give up now?”

His words make Sho feel slightly better. Finally, both of them completely stand by their feet before Ohno slowly moves his hands away from support Sho’s body.

“You have their number right? We should call and ask their current place now.”

With a nod, Sho immediately takes out his own phone and speed call for the first number. He puts it in loudspeaker mode so Ohno can hear it as well and wait for someone’s voice from the other line. Unfortunately, no one pick the call up.

“Whose number you’re calling now?”

“Aiba-san. He can’t hear it but-”

He abruptly stops. Soon, he turns to Ohno worriedly.

“Aiba-san gave his phone to Ninomiya-san before left. That’s mean it’s currently with Ninomiya-san.”

“Do you still remember where Ninomiya-san goes before you guys separated?”

The older one feels a bit relief when Sho nods.

“Keep on calling the number. We’ll go after him. Maybe something happens and he can’t answer it.”

Hurriedly, the two leave the place and the confusion of Sho’s sudden recovered behind. As both of them lose to some dark alley nearby, Sho’s Shinigami just crosses his arms and watches them silently without doing anything from afar. Later, he curves with an amusing smile and disappear.

‘That sound…?’

Nino startles by sound of phone ringing outside there. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tries to push open the tight closing hatch, it doesn’t work at all. Small bubbles come out from between his lips when he gives all his might to hit it again. He gradually can feel his lungs like going to explode with he almost lose his sanity because of lacking of oxygen. Slowly, he gives up from struggles to open the hatch and saves his life.

‘I can’t...anymore.’

A gasp and he lose all his breath into the water. His entire five senses gradually switch off as his eyes slowly close because of the tiredness. Bit by bit, he couldn’t hear sound of ringing phone out there anymore. He even can’t feel anything on his skin though the water is supposed to be as cold as ice and currently surround his weak body all around. Just when he thinks he will falls into a deep forever sleep; he feels the water suddenly shakes. Soon, pair of arms catches his waist before he feels someone drags him up. Few seconds and both he and the owner of the arms finally appear on the water surface.

“Ninomiya-san! Are you okay?!”

Ohno clumsily strokes the eye patch guy’s back and helps him to lean on the side of the already open hatch. Nino meanwhile vomits some amount of water from his mouth before gasp for air as much as his lungs can take. Later, he turns around by the warmness of someone’s body behind his damp one.

“Ohno-san? I thought you’re having fever now.”

“I’m fine.”

Few hard coughs follow his words. Realizing how bad the other’s condition, Nino tries to help him get out from the cold tank first, but Ohno reacts faster by helps him to crawl out from it instead. Sho who just worriedly watches from outside since while ago immediately reaches his hand to help Nino comes out safely. However, the eye patch guy just slaps his hand away. Understand what it does mean, Sho just pulls his hand away and watches the younger guy helps Ohno to climb out from there.

“How do you know I was trapped?”

“We track Aiba-san’s phone ringtone.”

While pant, the eye patch guy turns to the phone which just saves his life on the ground. After picks it, he looks at Ohno immediately.

“I’m worried with Aiba-san’s current situation now.”

“How about Matsumoto-san? Try to call him.”

Dramatically, Sho and Nino’s face change to an unpleasant one. Sho later decides to just ignores the feelings and flips open his phone for call Jun’s.  His finger however suddenly stops midway from press the dial button.

“Sakurai-san?”

Sho curses and suddenly closes his phone.

“His phone with me.”

Ohno out of word. For a while, the three guys surround by a very tense mood.

“Was the gunshot sound before meant for them?”

No answer from both Sho and Nino. Immediately, Ohno gets up from the ground and looks at the other two.

“Can you guys run?”

Both guys nod and stand up quickly.

“I think Matsumoto-san went after Aiba-san before. Maybe they’re together now.”

“Let’s hope they’re still safe now.”

Immediately, Ohno and Sho run back to the alley which is the last place Aiba and Jun were last to be seen. They however stop when they realize Nino doesn’t come along.

“Ninomiya-san, hurry up.”

 The eye patch guy just stares them seriously.

“I don’t mind to go and save Aiba-san, but I’ll never stay with this bastard and that Matsumoto guy even they’re the last person survive together with me. You have no idea what the two guys did before.”

Sho sighs stressfully.

“I know I’ve done a lot of mistakes before, Ninomiya-san. And I was the one who actually in charged to sell the share to your mother years ago.”

Nino’s expression changes.

“I’m terribly sorry about it. I know ‘sorry’ is not enough. It is fine if you don’t want to forgive me, but at least…can we think how to survive this thing and go to save Aiba-san and Matsumoto-san first?”

However, his words makes the younger guy angrily approaches him and grabs for his shirt.

“You say it so easy after what you’ve done!”

“Calm down, Ninomiya-san.”

Unfortunately, the eye patch guy just tightens his grips on Sho. All of sudden, Ohno pulls his hand from Sho’s shirt in harsh manner before forces him to return his gaze.

“Get hold of yourself. This is the reason why the Shinigami have an opportunity to make you guys replace their current place. I know it’s hard and I’m sorry to tell you this though I don’t know what was happened between the four of you before. But just for this time, I beg you. Let the past aside and help each other.”

Nino furiously frowns.

“Why are you so persistent to save us?”

“Cause you guys have a chance to build a new life. I don’t want you guys lose life sight, just like me. One day, death definitely will come after us but this is not the way of it for you guys. Not now, not here.”

He then strongly grips on the other’s shoulders.

“And this is actually for my own selfishness satisfies too. I hope this can redeem for cause innocent life die because of saving me before.”

“What do you mean?”

“You still want to live right?”

Nino loses of words. Ohno then turns to Sho and sees the guy look at him determinedly.

“Then don’t let your Shinigami win.”

However, the younger guy just snorts.

“You can do whatever you want to me after everything is over, Ninomiya-san.”

“It wouldn’t makes my mother comes to alive back.”

Sho couldn’t say more with the fact. The eye patch guy then immediately makes Ohno to let go of him.

“I get it. We should move now. They might be in danger.”

He determinedly says as he returns the other two gazes. Get what it means, Ohno curves with a relief smile before tell Sho to immediately lead their way. Several minutes after run in a very quick pace, Sho abruptly stops as they finally reach the alley where the last place him and the other three are staying together. While Nino gives a brief explanation about what happen from the moment Aiba’s sudden berserk until he leaves, Sho moves to pick the eye patch guy’s phone which still lay on the ground since while ago. Later, he turns to the two guys behind before hands it to Nino.

“It’s yours right?”

Nino doesn’t say anything but look at him without any expression. After a while, the latter finally takes it from Sho’s hand before shoves it into his pocket which slightly builds a clump of relief feeling in Ohno’s chest. They finally realize there is nothing important than get along with each other now. Later, some noise comes into his sense.

“You guys hear that?”

Both Sho and Nino stare him confusedly. For a while, the three of them stay quiet until they snap by a sudden loud painful wail from a far.

“That’s Matsumoto-san’s voice!”

Panicky, they run to where the scream from. They however stop again when they hear sound of lot of footsteps come to their place this time.

“That’s what I heard before.”

The sound getting closer for each elapses second. Just when they almost choose to ignore it and continue to move, they startle by the sight of huge group of guys come to their place which blocks by the darkness of the alley’s other side while ago. It doesn’t take so much time until Sho realizes the gun in one of their hold.

“We need to leave now. They’re dangerous.”

He takes few steps aback carefully with Nino soon follows his movement. However, Ohno just stay still on a same spot.

“Ohno-san?”

Ohno doesn’t response. All of sudden, the older guy steps bravely toward the gang which finally makes the dangerous guys in front realize about their existence there.

“Tonight, is indeed a blood party huh?”

The guy who holds the gun then also moves forward with his people smirk amusingly behind him. As they watch their leading friend lifts and aims his gun to Ohno who is still approaching them determinedly, they cheer excitedly.

“Let me tell you something. It’s better if you stay there now or you’ll add more work for the body pickers later.”

Ohno immediately stops by his words.

“The gunshot sound before was from you?”

He gains a chuckle from the other party.

“Well, this is the only chance for us to have fun. No idiot police or any scumbag in this area and we really should enjoy this once in life time chance.”

“You guys don’t feel afraid with the bomber’s matter yesterday?”

The gun’s owner smiles cynically by Ohno’s question which he thinks is indeed stupid.

“Time pass and there’s still no bomb explodes. It proves enough that this place is safe, wasn’t it? Only the cops are too afraid for nothing.”

His words makes Ohno realizes that the gang is actually still not aware with the fact that the police just close the city’s area for a while and they’re actually a part of the Shinigami’s plan. Later, Ohno tightly grasps his hand.

“Have you guys seen someone than the three of us before?”

The gun holders however just chuckles and look at his already laughing friends behind.

“Are you guys doing something to them?!”

Sho finally can’t hold back anymore. He almost steps forward, but stop when Ohno tells him to stay still.

“Did you shot them?”

The group of guys in front them finally stops laugh and look at them with wicked smirk.

“Nice guess, but actually just the deaf bastard.”

Their eyes grow wider.

“Aiba-san?”

“He keeps moaning about we’re killed his brother. I bet he now is thanking us for let him to meet his brother up there.”

Sho and Nino tremble angrily by their mocking tone. Though only two days pass, something like a strong bond is unconsciously born between the four of them together with Ohno. They know Aiba almost die for like million times by his Shinigami’s cruel plan and the gang now waste the entire deaf guy’s effort to keep alive just for few more hours before the game over.

“Bastard.”

Nino almost makes a move, but Ohno faster than him. Angrily, the older man stomps toward the trash that manages to make him completely lose of patience. The gang meanwhile surprises by his daring move. Panic by it, the gun holder immediately pulls the trigger of his gun which cause a third gunshot immediately echoes in the city. Soon, both Sho and Nino rush panicky to Ohno when they see the older guy suddenly falls on knees with his left hand on his stomach.

 “Are you alright?!”

“Did it hit you?”

They hear a hiss sound as an answer when they finally kneel beside the elder one. Before they could ask further, they see the dangerous guys currently run toward them in full of speed. Immediately, both younger guys help Ohno to get up before leave the alley together as fast as their feet can.

A whine escapes between Jun’s lips. While tries his best to bear with the pain from his wound, Jun slowly opens his eyes and found none of his former gang’s members surround him anymore.

‘…They left.’

He sighs. Carefully, he sits up on the road with his hand pushes the wound on his stomach to avoid from more blood flow out. He knows he needs to move faster to look for Sho and Nino before it’s too late. There’s no doubt anymore that his former gang has no hesitant to kill anyone they found and though he supposes not to, but he can’t help from also worrying about Ohno’s situation too.

‘This is my entire fault.’

Jun grits teeth hardly. After takes another deep breath, he gets up as slow as he can from there. The wound from the stab actually hurt him beyond what he can take, but he is too worry about the rest to even cares about his own blood which already stain the road below. All what he can do now just relies on his luck and instinct for just bring his feet wherever from there as he has no idea where the gang currently disappears to. Before he realizes it, he reaches the place where he found Aiba’s body. Mountain of guilt craves inside him again by the sight of the dead body on it.

“I’m sorry for need to leave you here Aiba-san…’

If he isn’t rush to chase after his former gang right now, he will definitely at least brings the deaf guy’s body to more appropriate than lie on the cold road. However, he knows he can’t do anything about it. Finally, he slowly moves to leave the place before he sees a car all of sudden swiftly approaches the place from afar.

‘Why there’s still someone here?’

He later sees headlights are getting closer to his standing place. Realizes that he maybe can borrow the car to look for the rest, he forces himself to move for stop it. However, the car just quickly comes to his place while increases it speed for every inches closer which makes Jun starts to feel suspicious with it. The car soon almost hit him, but fortunately his reflex is much faster. He manages to take few steps back which cause him to yelp in full pain as the sudden move hurt his already open wound again. Painfully, Jun bends his body forward a little bit to reduce the pain. Later, he hears car’s brake, follow by steering wheel’s sound which makes him to look behind him immediately.

‘What?’

His eyes grow wider when the driver speeds up to him again. Realizes whoever on the driver’s seat is actually attempting to kill him, Jun almost moves to dodge the car for the second time. Unfortunately, his wound isn’t on his side when it suddenly hurt again; prevents him from move because of the soreness. A second passes and Jun feels something suddenly crushes onto his body before traps his lower part to the building behind. Feels like his body just been rips apart, he painfully screams out full lungs by the pain.

‘…T-This is…too much…’

He breathes out heavily before his upper body falls on the car’s front. At the moment he tries to move his hands to gain some support from the car, his body already damp with painful sweat.

“W-Why…”

As he slightly looks up to look for the front mirror, he could hear sound of his bones crack below. Immediately, his breaths turn to irregular one again until he sees the thug who he just knocked out in the restaurant before smirks from the driver’s seat.

“I’m going to kill you, Jun.”

The thug returns Jun’s weak gaze with a hateful glare. Suddenly, Jun hears the thug let a whimper which he believes comes from the effect of his strong hit on the other’s head while ago. Takes it as his chance, Jun tries to use his hands to move his body from traps longer between the wall and car. Unfortunately, the thug notices it.

“I won’t let you.”

He immediately drives the car aback which makes Jun moans painfully as he now couldn’t stands properly anymore and only can use his hands to grip tremblingly on the car’s front side. The thug meanwhile just excitedly curves with a meek grin after he completely sure there’s some space between Jun and the wall now.

“Let’s finish this.”

Jun finally realizes what the other guy is going to do when he notices the thug already pushes the car’s gear. Now what the heartless thug only needs to do is stomping on the pedal and hit the wall for the second time to break Jun’s entire lower part body. Feels his death is getting near, Jun only can grip tightly on the car’s front side as much as his fingers can and waits. Soon, he hears the driver’s door suddenly slams open and the thug scream angrily.

“What are-!”

Sound of punch follow by a loud knock on the car’s side comes into Jun’s ears. Later, Jun hears the thug’s body falls on the road; perhaps already pass out by the hit on the car’s side before. It however doesn’t make Jun feel better as he can’t see who the attacker is from his place. Slowly, his fingers slip from grip on the car when the sound of the thug’s attacker footsteps gets closer to his place. Jun soon falls on the road and cry painfully again by the terrible injure he has on his entire legs.

‘I’ll definitely die.’

He can feels his mind and soul now completely give up to keep on survive as what he only can do now only stays and waits to whatever will happen next. However, the person who appears in front later only makes him surprise and freezes.

“Aiba-san…?”

The deaf guy however just looks at him emptily while breath heavily. Immediately, Aiba moves to help him get up before bring him into the passenger’s seat. After closes Jun’s seat door, the latter weakly moves to the driver’s seat with his blood stain every part of the car that he touches for gain some support to make him keep on walking. The younger guy can see how hard Aiba tries to bear with pain for his own entire movement to the driver’s place. A moment later, Aiba finally manages to get into the seat beside Jun before flinches painfully when his back slightly makes a contact with the seat behind. Still pant and sweating tiredly, Aiba moves slowly to grip and leans his pale face on the steering wheel in front him.

“I-I thought…you’re die?”

Jun finally can brings himself to ask the question as his eyes still stares the older in disbelieve. He is more than sure that Aiba just dead before.

All of sudden, another loud gunshot sound comes into his sense.

>Honestly, I feel a bit worry when i post chapter 10 back then. This story is actually about what happen to the 5 of them for all the 3 days, but I took 20 chapters to finish it. Too long wasn't it? And that's why I really really need to think whether I should change the story line (cause I actually aimed to finish this on chapter 10) or stick with the real idea. Finally, I choose to just stay with the real one. I'm sorry for take so much time to finish this and torture you guys by kill them so many times! XDD (P.S: I won't leave Sho and Aiba's suppose-to-dead incident cliffhanging. There's explanation for it, so don't worry)
After waiting for so long, the epilogue finally comes after this. Will they survive? Will they die? Or will only 1 person make it? Please read it ne ;)
