Disclaimer: I just wrote the plot.
Summary: What you're going to do when you received a message from Shinigami that said you're joining their game? 25 people including Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari and Matsumoto Jun try their best to survive the game for the rest three days or they will lost their lives in the most fatal accident they ever thought. Will they manage to? And why Ohno Satoshi who has nothing to do with it tries to rescue every victims that he found?
Warnings: This story full with blood, murderer and plot that might be unsuitable for you who hate this kind of stuff. For you who ever read my fics before, THIS STORY is different from what I ever wrote.
A nostalgic smell suddenly comes into Ohno’s sense. As he still feels dizzy, he tries to drift back into his sleep, but the memory of what just happened before makes him immediately opens his eyes and sits up. Everything is dark. However, the fragrance and the feel of slightly rough couch’s surface under him are familiar. There’s no doubt he is now in his late parents’ house, again.
“You’re finally awake Ohno-sama.”
Ohno turns to the kitchen’s doorstep.
“Did you bring me here after make me pass out before?”
His guardian didn’t answer it. Quickly, Ohno tries to get up, but stops when the other one suddenly stands in front of him.
“I can’t let you to involve yourself more in this matter anymore.”
“Why all of sudden?”
He knows there’s something wrong as he notices how tense his guardian’s face is. From what he remembers, the third day indeed harder than the previous two, but the way of how it’s working stills same. All what Sho, Aiba, Nino and Jun need to do just avoid from being kill like him before.
“Years had passed and they already make a lot of different to avoid anyone survive this.”
“I know about it. That’s why I told them to stay together and always help each other. Even if they’re separating too, at least they still can work with their phone’s strategy. I believe they will survive this as long as they don’t give up.”
However, the guardian just sighs.
“You know, usually a Shinigami won’t choose they apprentice randomly. They’ll make sure the one who is going to replace their position has any connection with the other apprentices. So, even they’re staying together, it doesn’t mean they can accept each other anymore once they find out who the person they’re staying with is.”
“What do you mean?”
“Those guys who you’re trying to save before might have past connection with each other. I’m sure if they find out about it, there’s no way they’ll get along with each other anymore.”
“Then I should go to their place! I can’t let that happen!”
He tries to get up, but fail when a pang of pain suddenly feels like stabbing his head. With a moan, he sits back on the couch.
“We’re disturbing the final stage. If you poke your nose into it again, you’re going to lose your life as I can’t guarantee I can protect you anymore. I’m not sure if I can kill anyone on the third day in order to protect you if you’re the one who want to involve yourself along.”
“I don’t mind it…though.”
He said it between the dizziness he feels. Slowly, he moves his hand to his temple and gently massage it; hoping it’ll reduce the killer pain he currently through.
“No matter what, I will go back to the restaurant. But for now I only can hope their strategy will work till I can bear with my headache and go back to them.”
“They can’t continue with it. This time, some people are kind of ‘send’ for freely kill anyone they want as long as their prey are the message’s receivers. And those people are not under any Shinigami’s control. They move by their own decision.”
“Who? How come the Shinigami can do that?”
“They plan it nicely. They’re angel after all, weren’t they?”
“But you said those people are not under control, so why they want to kill any of the Shinigami’s victims from the first place?”
At the moment he said it, he can feels like his head is going to explode anytime because of his high fever. However, the answer from the guy above him can’t make him feel better at all.
“Sometimes you can’t run from your old sin.”
The guardian slightly smiles, drags his Ohno-sama into a deep confusion.
“They planned it really details this time. Though there are 4 survivors, one of them is the cause of the chaos. Unless they can accept that guy for drag them along in his matter or maybe others, they can survive. But, I bet it’s zero.”
“What…are you trying to say?”
Ohno can feel his heart pound worriedly. His guardian on the other hand just calmly returns his gaze.
“Once they already lost their trust with each other, it’ll be the end of them.”
Sound of unstop clock’s ticking makes Jun to forcefully open his eyes and sits up slowly on the cold floor he is lying on. For a while, he was absolutely absentminded with what was going as his eyes just confusedly roam all around the dark room. Soon, he finally saw the bracelet-like mark around his wrist and immediately looks at the clock wall.
‘2 a.m.’
He massages gently his temple. They have been there for several hours, but it such a miracle they’re still alive and free from the Shinigami’s cruel plan in that mean time. As he turns to look at Ohno who was supposed to be sleeping on the couch, his eyes grow wider. Immediately, he turns to look at the other three, but only found they’re still stayed unconsciously on the same spot.
“Ohno-san?”
No answer. Worriedly, Jun forces himself to get up and tries to look for the older guy around. He however found the other one nowhere. Just when he was about to wake Aiba or Nino up, he heard sound of something broken from the downstairs. Expecting the sound was definitely cause by Ohno, he immediately calls out for the older one again, but this time accidently makes Nino to wake up by it.
“What’s wrong?”
A small whine escapes from his mouth as he tries to sit up.
“Ohno-san is not here anymore. I thought he’s at the downstairs, but he doesn’t give any response at all.”
His explanation follows by another crash sound from the restaurant’s space below. Feel worry about it, Nino immediately moves to the stairs together with Jun. Both guys just stay silence for a while till a low grunt follows by a long scrape sound comes to their ears.
“Ohno-san? Are you down there?”
However, they just heard sound of metal clash like answering them.
“Do you think Ohno-san is having trouble down there?”
“I’m not sure.”
And Nino turns to look at the clock wall by chance. Surprise by the time show, Nino immediately takes out Aiba’s phone from his pocket and flips it open.
“Like I expect it.”

Well done for make it to the Final Stage!
We are so surprise to know there is still more than one survivor after two days. It was never happened before. As Shinigami, it was beyond our expectation that our apprentices can come out with such an amazing plan and even can still well-cooperate together.
HOWEVER
Can you still accept each other when you find out about the reality soon? Well, the ugly truth is always hurting right?

“The ugly truth?”
He frowns by letters on the screen. As Jun is coincidently beside him, he let the younger one to have a glance on it before he saw Jun immediately moves to also takes Sho’s phone out of his pocket. Soon, he hears Jun let a small curse out.
“What’s wrong?”
“I think I just read Sakurai-san’s work matter message. I shouldn’t to, right?”
The eye patch guy turns to the phone by chance. Jun was about to press another button when Nino unexpectedly steals the phone from his hand all of sudden. As he sees Nino is carefully reading the message, he politely tries to take the phone back.
“Ninomiya-san, I think this is something to do with Sakurai-san’s job. You shouldn’t read it.”
However, he stops midway when he saw Nino’s eyes suddenly show full of angriness with hand tremblingly grips tightly around it. Later, both guys immediately look up from the phone’s screen at the same time when they heard someone let a loud startle voice from the downstairs.
“You’re still alive!”
The thug looks so surprise which makes Jun on the other hand turns to pale immediately. Realizing the thug tries to leave the place, Jun quickly jump all the stair steps down and chases over the other one as fast as he can. Soon, he quickly grabs for the ashtray place nearby and throws it to the guy in front him head; sending the thug into unconsciousness state. As he watches the other one falls on the floor, only sound of his breath barely can be heard for a while.
“What’s wrong?”
Jun immediately turns around.
“What happen to him?!”
Nino worriedly tries to approach the motionless guy. However, Jun suddenly stops him.
“Don’t. We need to get out from here now.”
“But-”
Before he could ask further, Jun suddenly speeds up to the upstairs; forcing him to no choice but follows the younger one behind. Beyond their expectation, both Sho and Aiba already up and look at them worriedly.
“Where did you guys go?”
Nino turns to Jun beside him. However, the younger guy just leave the question unanswered and moves to help Sho get up. The eye patch guy meanwhile still has no idea with what just happen, but rather than flooding Jun with ton of questions, he just obediently follows Jun’s act and moves to help the still confuse Aiba. Later, the four of them climb down the stairs and leaves the restaurant building. Realizing Jun is trying to bring them away from there as fast as he can, Sho finally couldn’t hold back himself from asking again as soon as they enter a dim alley.
“Matsumoto-san, what was happened?”
“We need to leave this place now.”
“But why? It’s dangerous for us to stay outside.”
“Was Ohno-san…know about this?”
Jun abruptly stops. As he turns around to look at the way that they just took before, he feels a bit insecure whether he should bring them to leave or turns back as he wasn’t sure whether Ohno is still in the restaurant or if the guy will come back in case he already left. Finally, he bites his lower lip and decides to continue move.
“We need to leave this place as far as we can. And about Ohno-san, Ninomiya-san and I found him nowhere already when we woke up before.”
“Then what was happened at the downstairs? I heard Ninomiya-san sound like shouting before.”
Jun sighs. Carefully, he takes Sho’s arm off from his shoulder and clenches his hand into a fist.
“You know that thug, don’t you?”
He returns Nino’s calm gaze before finally nods.
“If I didn’t knock him off before, he might be call for his gang and we’ll be in a big trouble if it happened.”
“Explain.”
Both Sho and Nino now look at him seriously. Having no choice anymore, Jun let a heavy sigh out and immediately moves his hand to something around his neck.
“I left that thug’s gang two days ago and they’re the cause of the terrible wound on my head now. The problem now, my former gang is a group of heartless people. They don’t mind to hurt others and like you saw back then Ninomiya-san, one of them saw my face. That’s why we need to leave this place or at least I must bring you guys away before the thug who I just knocked out before wake up and tell the others to look for us.”
“Wait. Then what about Ohno-san? Will they hurt him if they found him later?”
“Now we only can rely on his guardian to protect him. I don’t want to do this too, but we’re seriously can’t go back there.”
Found the rightness of the younger’s words, Sho and Nino just stay quiet. Meanwhile, Jun tries to remove the necklace which was once became the proof that he is the part of his former gang. Right before he throws it onto some pile of unused woods nearby however, someone suddenly caught his wrist and takes a close up on the necklace.
“Aiba-san?”
He receives no response. Gently, he pats the deaf guy’s shoulders; tries to ask for the other one’s unexpected act. Soon, Aiba suddenly looks at him with pair of furious eyes and gives a really hard blow on his face.
“Matsumoto-san!”
Both Sho and Nino’s face change dramatically. Aiba on the other hand immediately throws the disgusting necklace in his hand right on Jun’s face.
“What are you doing?!”
Jun gives him a glare while wipes the blood on his mouth away. At the same time, Aiba almost runs to give another blow to Jun, but Sho and Nino react fast by hold him back. Realize the deaf guy didn’t show any sign of giving up, both of the guys immediately let him go and hurriedly move to block his way.
“Why are you doing that?”
Aiba however just push them hardly aside and continues to run toward Jun again. As he hardly knocks the younger guy to lay on back, he this time gives more powerful blow on the other one; expel all his grudge, angriness and sorrow out without hold back. Jun almost lost all his breath by the time Sho and Nino finally succeeds to drag the older guy away from him.
“MURDERER! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’RE ONE OF THEM!”
The other three guys surprise by his words. As the deaf guy tries to pull away from the hold around his body and arms, tears swiftly flow down from his eyes.
“HOW COULD YOU GUYS KILLED MY BROTHER??!!! YOU AND THOSE THUGS ARE THE MOST RUTHLESS PEOPLE I EVER KNOW IN THIS WORLD!!!”
“Aiba-san, what are you talking about? Calm down.”
Unfortunately, Aiba doesn’t hear it and just keep trying to release himself from Sho and Nino’s tight grip. Sweat and tears roll down to damp his face and shirt, but it wasn’t stop him until Jun finally stands face to face with the three guys; surprise and trembling.
“Matsumoto-san, he’s getting aggressive. You better-”
“That guy…was your brother?”
Sho and Nino startle by his words. Slowly, Jun moves to approach the angry guy in front him, but stops when Aiba all of sudden spits on his face in disgust.
“I’ll NEVER forgive you guys!”
Jun loss of words when another tears flow down on Aiba’s cheek.
“Let him go.”
Both Sho and Nino’s eye grow wider.
“What are you saying?”
“Just let him go.”
The two guys turn to look at each other. Finally feels the hold around him getting weaker, Aiba immediately pull himself off from them and gives another punch on Jun’s face; leaving a bruise on the younger’s face by it. He soon leaves another blow, follow by another which makes Sho and Nino almost run and pulls Aiba away, but stops when Jun tells him to stay still. All what they can do only watch the younger guy getting weaker and breathless by every blow. Jun on the other hand holds no grudge and just obediently receives what he believes he should get. He as well blames himself for couldn’t lend his help during the two months ago matter which was also became the reason of why he determinedly decides to leave his former gang. For him, it’s a punishment for become the death cause of Aiba’s brother.
“Stop. He can’t move anymore.”
After several more blow, Nino finally able to grab Aiba’s wrist. Jun meanwhile falls weakly on the road and tries to catch all his breath back. Seeing the guy in front him can’t move anymore, Aiba just grits his teeth hardly before turns around and shoves out Nino’s phone from his pocket.
“I don’t mind if I’m going to lose my life anymore.”
Quickly, he pulls away from Nino’s grip and gives back the phone. Seeing the sorrow looks on Aiba’s face, Nino almost moves to stop the other one but it’s already too much late when the deaf guy suddenly runs and leaves the dark alley.
“Is he going to…look for those thugs alone?”
Sho however just turns to the beaten guy on the ground.
“Was it true? You and your gang killed his brother?”
While breathing heavily, Jun tries to sit up with his elbows as support.
“…Yeah.”
Nino loss of words. Annoyingly, Sho rubs his nape before approaches the younger guy with a snort.
“And now you drag us along with your gang’s matter. I guess they maybe wouldn’t mind about us IF not because we’re with you right?”
“FORMER gang.”
“Whatever. I can’t put any faith on a murderer like you anymore. I prefer to move by myself now. Give my phone back.”
Nino hardly grits his teeth when he remembers about the message on Sho’s phone again. While tries his best to stay sane, he slowly shoves Sho’s phone put from his pocket.
“Then say, was this message from your company?”
Sho turns around immediately. He frowns when he realizes Nino is the one who currently holding his phone.
“You read my message?”
“JUST ANSWER MY QUESTION!”
The sudden snap drags the older guy into confusion. Soon, Jun stands up weakly behind him.
“I thought it was from Shinigami, so I read it. It’s praise from your boss, I guess.”
“For serious?”
Sho creeps with wide grin. Quickly, he moves toward Nino and takes the phone from the eye patch guy’s hold. Watching how happy Sho looks by the message, Nino finally opens his mouth.
“You look delight.”
“I pay a lot of respect to my boss. He’s kind of my idol and the reason why I want to keep on doing my job. He’s awesome, you know. I never thought he even knows my name.”
However, his explanation gets a cynical chuckle as reply.
“What’s so funny?”
All of sudden, Nino throws his own phone hardly to the older one’s face. Sho almost snaps by it, but the younger one moves faster by grabs his shirt and shoots him with glare.
“I guess your eyes were blinded by how much you respect him, huh?”
“Huh? Excuse me?”
“Do you know that bastard old man who you respect a lot was the reason of bankruptcy and suicidal of a lot of poor and desperate family recently! That bastard just thinks about himself and always tricks people who is not AS CLEVER AS him to buy a share from the company which you’re proud of!”
Sho frowns.
“Thanks to THAT BASTARD also, most of my students' parents lost their current job and drag their kids along with the debt include my own late mother!”
“It has nothing to do with the company I’m working at!”
“Just cut the crap off, Sakurai-SAN! I went back home straightly every day after my work just for investigate your company and working on any proof that I can found! You maybe know nothing about what you’re hardly working about all this time!”
Jun who was just silently watching beside all the time starts to panic when the two guys now use violence with each other. He almost tries to stop them, but a sudden shoot sound makes the three guys abruptly stop and turn to look at the way that Aiba took while ago. Feel worry about it, Jun immediately runs toward the sound’s source; leaving the two guys behind.
“Guess I can’t believe both you and Matsumoto-san. You called him a murderer, but weren’t you’re a one also?”
Sho didn’t manage to deny it when Nino suddenly knees hardly his stomach. Immediately, he falls on the ground with a painful whine.
“I hope they’ll kill you, so you’re going to ‘wake up’ from the dream of your perfect job.”
With that, he takes a different path from the one that Aiba and Jun took before; leaving Sho alone in pain. As soon as the eye patch guy lost from his sight, Sho can see the figure of his Shinigami is standing at the end of the alley in front him while smiling. Unfortunately, he couldn’t do anything anymore even for crawling.
Now he realizes. It might be the end for them.

-I'm really sorry for my late update. My dad suddenly told me that I'm going with him and mom back to hometown cause his cousin was getting married. There's no internet connection there so...
