'ARASHI' CHAPTER 8(2):You're my Papa!

The cab was gone almost 10 minutes ago, but they still don’t move from there. It’s hard to believe their Shoko-chan was leaving them. Aiba wipes his tears and looks at Ohno.

“ Oh-chan... I miss Shoko-chan already...”

“Me too...”

Suddenly, they hear another sobbing sound come from aside.

“Sho-kun...”

Tears flows on Sakurai’s cheek. He really loves the little girl, but yet he still let her go. Sakurai starts crying while his friends move slowly toward him to calm him down. Suddenly, they stop.  They gasp before a pair of tiny hands suddenly hugs tightly on Sakurai’s legs.

“...papa...”

Sakurai looks down and he saw the little girl look at him while panting. He almost hugs the little girl.

“Shoko-chan? Why Shoko-chan-”

“Shoko-chan had promise Papa before that Shoko-chan will never leave Papa again and-”

The little girl looks at her ni-chan.

“Shoko-chan doesn’t want to leave ni-chan too.”

“No. Shoko-chan must live with oba-chan.”

“That’s true Shoko-chan... oba-chan will take care of Shoko-chan better than Papa and ni-chan.”

“No. Shoko-chan want to live with Papa and ni-chan...”

The little girl shook hard her head. She still hugs Sakurai’s legs tightly.

“Shoko-chan, one day Papa and ni-chan will visit Shoko-chan, so-”

“Promise?”

Sakurai didn’t answer her question. Shoko-chan looks at Ohno, Ninomiya and Matsumoto. When she looks at Aiba she saw Aiba is crying while shook weakly his head. Aiba can’t deceive the little girl. The little girl slowly releases her hands from Sakurai’s legs.

“Papa and ni-chan doesn’t like Shoko-chan anymore, so that’s why Papa and ni-chan send Shoko-chan to oba-chan plac-”

“No!”

Sakurai slowly kneels down. He looks at the little girl and wipes her tears.

“No Shoko-chan...that’s not true...”

He embraces her gently and strokes her hair.

“Papa and ni-chan really like Shoko-chan, but...”

He knows Shoko-chan will think he is deceiving her and will be run away from him again, but this is the only way to make Shoko-chan leaves them.

“Shoko-chan, I’m not Shoko-chan real Papa... I’m not...but, I really want to become Shoko-chan’s Papa...”

He releases Shoko-chan from his embrace and touches the little girl’s face while smile bitterly.

“Shoko-chan’s real Papa was dead...two years ago...and Shoko-chan’s real name is...Kazuhiko Shoko, not Sakurai Shoko...”

“But, Papa had told Shoko-chan before that Papa will become Shoko-chan new Papa.”

Now, all the guys become extremely surprise. Indeed, he had told her about it when she is in comma state before.

“So, Shoko-chan knew from earlier that he’s not Shoko-chan’s real Papa?”

Shoko-chan immediately hugs Sakurai. She smiles widely although tears still wetting her cheek.

“This is Shoko-chan Papa. There’s no different between the real and the not real Papa. Sakurai Sho is Shoko-chan Papa after all.”

Those words make them realize. This little girl is strong and mature than they thought. Shoko-chan was heard all Sakurai’s words when she still in comma state. Ohno, Aiba, Ninomiya and Matsumoto look at each other while smiling widely. So, there’s no reason for them to send Shoko-chan away or in other words, she can live with them. But, Sakurai still look gloomy.

“Thank you, Shoko-chan but...Papa can’t give Shoko-chan anything that Shoko-chan want. Papa can’t send Shoko-chan to good school and Papa also doesn’t afford to buy Shoko-chan any branded clothes.”

“Shoko-chan doesn’t need it.”

“No Shoko-chan, Shoko-chan must-”

Suddenly Ninomiya grabs the little girl hand and pulls her to his embraces. He glares at Sakurai.

“If you really don’t want her, let me become her Papa.”

“What? Nino, what are you-”

“I said IF YOU REALLY DON’T WANT HER, LET ME BECOME HER PAPA!”

All of them surprise with Ninomiya’s words. They didn’t expect Ninomiya can become this mad. The little girl looks at Ninomiya.

“Kazu ni-chan, thank you, but Shoko-chan only want Sakurai Sho to become Shoko-chan Papa.”

Ninomiya smirks. He whispers something to Shoko-chan’s ear.

‘Good words Shoko-chan.’

The little girl looks at Ninomiya with her confuse face. Suddenly, they saw the cab from earlier is approaching them.

“So do you want to say something Sho-kun?”

Sakurai didn’t say anything. He just takes back the little girl from Ninomiya embrace.

“The person who can become Shoko-chan’s Papa is only me, Nino.”

Ohno, Aiba and Matsumoto feel relief. They thought both of them will be fighting to each other, but when they saw Ninomiya’s smirk before, they knew Ninomiya was planned something towards Sakurai. And... it’s work.

“You should say it earlier.”

“You still have us don’t you? We can help you to raise her.”

“If you want to do any part time job let us know. We’ll do it with you.”

“Besides, we love Shoko-chan too!”

Sakurai smiles widely while looks at his daughter. Suddenly the model comes out from the cab.

“I’m sorry, but I’ll take care of Shoko-chan.”

“I’d told you before it ‘s not easy like you think.”

“I’ll do my best.”

“Besides, you haven’t money to raise her.”

“My friends will help me about that.”

“What make you so determined?”

“Because, I’m her Papa.”

Ohno, Ninomiya and Matsumoto feel proud with their friend’s words, but unexpectedly Aiba suddenly asks a question.

“I’m so happy Shoko-chan will live with us again, but who will take care of Shoko-chan when we went to school?”

“BAKA!”

Ninomiya and Matsumoto smack Aiba’s head. They worried about it too, but they know the model will not give Shoko-chan to them if Aiba say about their BIG problem in front of her.

“Don’t worry about it, there’s a place that can take care of Shoko when you guys went to school. I’ll call the owner later and tell them about Shoko. I always send Shoko to that place when I have some work to do.”

“Eh?”

“You mean, Shoko-chan can stay with us?”

The model nods her head.

“I’d told you before I don’t mind at all if you want to take care of Shoko.”

She brings out Shoko-chan’s bag from the passenger seat and gives it to them.

“Actually I wanted to find Shoko before, but my management doesn’t allow me cause’ they said I’ll ruin my name by doing it...I’d failed to do my responsibility as her mother, so that’s why she doesn’t like me and she run away.”

“But I’m still confused...how come Shoko-chan can know my face although Shoko-chan never saw me before?”

“After she recovered from her comma, she kept forced the doctor to tell her anything about you. That’s why she know about your face.”

The model looks at Shoko-chan and hugs her. Then, she looks back at them.

“I’ll explain to her grandma about this... I trust on you guys, but you must give happiness to Shoko.”

“We will.”

The model almost gets into the cab before Shoko-chan grabs her hand.

“Thank you Mama.”

The model pats her head and gives Shoko-chan a smile before gets into the cab. Then, the driver starts the engine and drives away from there.

“YATTA!!!”

“You’re screaming too loud Aiba-chan! You just crying before and now your mood change so dramatically!”

“But I’m so~ HAPPY!!! Oh-chan is happy too right?”

“Yup!”

“Thank you guys!”

Sakurai bows toward them. He can’t describe how happy and how grateful he is.

“It’s nothing Sho-chan. Don’t do this, we’re friend you know.”

“Aiba-chan is true Sho-kun.”

Sakurai stops bow down and smiles towards his friends. Suddenly, Shoko-chan bows towards them.

“Thank you very much ni-chan!”

“No need to do this Shoko-chan. But, if Shoko-chan really want to thank Kazu ni-chan, give ni-chan a peck on here.”

Ninomiya kneels down while points on his lips.

“Nino! I’d told you before, don’t-”

But it’s too late. The little girl really pecks Ninomiya at ‘there’. All of them including Ninomiya shock for a while.

“I-is that Shoko-chan first time peck on someone lips?”

“Yup!”

The innocent girl nods her head while smile widely since she still doesn’t know what it’s mean. Ninomiya gives Sakurai a smirk.

“I’m sorry Shoko-chan’s Papa~”

“NINO!!!!”

Ohno(Well never saw his kiss scene before, only saw he's the one being kissed)
Aiba(Same with Ohno, but...in Boku no Miteiru Fuukei concert with Nino...is the kiss true?)
