24iza_runOhno just finish washing the dishes in the kitchen. He comes out to the living room and saw Aiba and Shoko-chan are playing together.
“Aiba-chan, you should go for a sleep. You need to rest more.”
Ohno moves toward the futon. He wants to prepare it for Aiba, but the little girl suddenly stops him.
“Let Masa ni-ni sleeps in the bedroom tonight.”
“But, how about Shoko-chan?”
“Shoko-chan will sleep in this living room with Sato ni-chan!”
“Really?”
The little girl nods while smiling.
“Wait, aren’t Sho-chan and Nino will be angry if they know you’re sleeping with Shoko-chan?”
“Well, let’s keep it as a secret right?”
“Yup!”
Both Ohno and Shoko-chan do a ‘high five’. Then, they look toward Aiba.
“Okay, it’s time to sleep Aiba-chan.”
“Eh~ But I’m not feeling sleepy yet...”
“Nope! Masa ni-ni must sleep!”
The little girl holds Aiba’s hand and brings him to the bedroom. Then, she forces Aiba to sleep while Ohno covers his body with a blanket.
“Good night Masa ni-ni~”
They turn off the light and smile at him before closing the door. The bedroom suddenly becomes silent and dark. Aiba blinks and looks at the door.
‘Uwa~ I can’t sleep at all!’
He sighs and immediately sits up on the bed.
“They are too worried about me...”
“Of course. You’re their friend after all.”
Aiba shocked by the sudden voice. He turns to his back while touching his chest.
“Can you stop suddenly appear like that? If I have a heart attack, I’d died immediately.”
“That’s great! You can accompany me!”
“Oi oi. Stop joking like that.”
“I’m not.”
They look at each other. He shivers a bit when he saw the soul is looking at him seriously. Suddenly, the soul stuck out ‘it’s’ tongue.
“Just kidding~”
She immediately laughs hardly when Aiba’s face turns to pale. Aiba lets out a frustrated sighs.
‘Wow. This is the first time I found a playful ghost.’
Then, the ghost gets up from the bed and starts looking around the bedroom. Aiba looks at her before starts a conversation.
“So, mind to tell me why you’re following me?”
“Actually I’m not following you.”
“Eh?”
“It’s more like I possess you.”
“Eh?! But why?!”
“Cause’ I can’t get out from the school, except if I possess someone’s body.”
She looks toward him for a while before looks back outside the window.
“And that’s why you’re collapse before.”
Aiba stunned.
“But, why my body? Why you didn’t choose other people?”
“Cause’ you can see me and your body is strong enough.”
Then, the ‘ghost’ walks and sits beside him.
“So...what should I do to make you ‘rest in peace’?”
“Nice question!”
She gives him two thumbs up.
“I want you to help me to take revenge with someone.”
“Revenge?”
“Yup.”
“But why?”
“I’d commit suicide because of them.”
Aiba surprises with her words. He can’t believe the cheerful ‘ghost’ can says it happily. And since only a bad soul can possess a human, he realizes that she must be holding a really deep grudge. He becomes silence for the second time before continues his question.
“...I’m sorry, but when were you died?”
“10 years ago.”
“How old you were?”
“I was 16 years old on that time.”
“Means, you’re older 10 years than me! I should call you-”
“’I’LL CURSE YOU IF YOU CALL ME OBA-CHAN!”
The ‘ghost’ immediately cuts his words. Aiba stunned for a while before suddenly laughs hardly.
“What’s so funny about it?!!”
“I can’t believe there’s still a ghost that sensitive with age!”
“I told you that I’m not a ghost!”
“You’re ghost actually.”
“I’m not!”
She pouts and immediately lies on the bed with her back facing him. A deep silence surround between them again.
“Who’s the person that you’re holding a grudge on?”
“My ex-best friends.”
“Your ex-best friends?”
“Yup. To be continued, Oyasuminasai~”
“Wait! Finish your story fi-!”
Then, he heard the soul breathe peacefully. He waves his hand in front of her face.
‘Ghost needs a sleep too?!’
He asked himself before sits at the edge of the bed.
‘Yabai...’
He looks at the soul worriedly. He knows when a suicide soul wants to take revenge, the human that the soul had a grudge on will be totally suffers.
‘This is bad...I should make her give up on it.’
